Master of City Planning ’13

I really appreciated that a majority of the professors in the program work in the Planning field in Boston and were able to incorporate their work into our courses. They were also great resources for career advice and networking!

Talya Moked is a recent graduate with a Masters of City Planning from Boston University, and also holds a BSc. in Economics from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Before moving to Boston she lived in New York City where she worked in finance at Christie’s Auction House. However, she always had an interest in environmental policy and enrolled at Boston University to pursue a career in environmental planning. During her time at Boston University she interned first with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs as a Climate Change Adaptation Intern and then with the Boston Redevelopment Authority as a Green Buildings and Zoning Intern. These internships, along with her studies at BU, provided her the experience and knowledge needed to be an effective Environmental Planner. She began working at Epsilon Associates in April of 2013, during her last semester at BU.
