Cat\u2019s work broadly focuses and intersects with international human rights, forced migration, and gender and security. Her approach to her research is interdisciplinary and intersectional, centering identity and various methodological approaches, such media analyses, to understand people\u2019s experiences in vulnerable situations.<span class=\"x_Apple-converted-space x_ContentPasted0\"> <span>\u00a0To learn more about Abou-Khalil&#8217;s research and publications, visit\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/polisci\/profile\/catherine-cat-abou-khalil\/\">her webpage.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_p1 x_ContentPasted0\">In Spring 2023, Cat was awarded a mini travel and conference grant which will support her travel to present at the American Political Science Association (APSA) 2023 Annual Conference to present her co-authored work titled, \u201cCan Pandora\u2019s Box Be Closed?
