Her <span class=\"ContentPasted4\">research looks at the future as a site of both contestation and possibility for communities facing displacement. Her first book project, <\/span><em class=\"ContentPasted4\">Figuring It Out: The Politics of Care,<\/em><span class=\"ContentPasted4\">\u00a0is an engaged ethnography of Istanbul\u2019s Tarlaba\u015f\u0131 neighborhood, asserting care as a set of temporal practices that can reconfigure urban politics.
