Using primarily panel survey data and longitudinal analysis methods, her research focuses on the consequences of parent-adult child relationships and union dissolution, with a particular focus on the (mental) health and financial well-being of older adults. She is currently working on her dissertation, &#8220;Parent-Adult Child Relationships and Older Adults&#8217; Health and Well-Being in the United States and Europe. Lisa Jessee holds a B.A. in Gerontology (University of Vechta) and an M.A. in Aging Populations (TU Dortmund). As a visiting scholar at CISS, Lisa Jessee will work most closely with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ciss\/profile\/deborah-carr\/\">Dr. Deborah Carr<\/a>, Professor of Sociology and Director of CISS.
