\"\"Tesla Cariani, Lecturer in Women\u2019s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>i<\/span>s a scholar and teacher of queer and trans visual cultures, Cariani\u2019s research on contemporary media and literature examines how gender, sexuality, and race are fundamentally shaped by the visual.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Adrian Chase, Visiting Assistant Professor in Archaeology,<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>is an anthropological archaeologist specializing in urbanism, computational archaeology, and prehispanic Mesoamerica.<\/p>\n

\"\"Bradley Craig, Assistant Professor of History,<\/b> is a historian of early African American and Black Atlantic politics and culture. Broadly, his research examines the felt and embodied dimensions of diasporic belonging.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Matthew Creighton, Lecturer in Jewish Studies,<\/b>\u00a0is a scholar with specializations in German literature and modern Jewish culture.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Brooke Durham, Assistant Professor of History,<\/b> is a historian of France and the French Empire. Her research approaches the end of the French Empire through local, interpersonal interactions in France and Africa after 1945.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Ben Finkel, Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology,<\/strong> is a biological anthropologist and primatologist with a focus on the evolution of senescence and life-history theory.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Jacob Kripp, Visiting Assistant Professor\u00a0 of Political Science,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>researches at the intersection of Critical War Studies, Historical International Relations, Global Political Theory, and interdisciplinary studies of racism and empire.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Sarah Miller, Assistant Professor of Sociology,<\/b>\u00a0in joint appointment with the Women\u2019s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Boston University. Her work contributes to sociological scholarship on gender, sexuality, race, youth, education, and new media. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Erik Peinert, Assistant Professor of Political Science,<\/b>\u00a0is a comparative and international political economist, and his research focuses on the political economy of advanced industrial states and the politics of economic policymaking, particularly in the domain competition and market power. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Jane Pryma, Assistant Professor of Sociology,<\/b>\u00a0is a sociologist of health and medicine who explores how politics, medical technologies, and human rights shape what we know about pain and disability. Her work has appeared in the American Sociological Review, Social Science & Medicine, Journal of International and Comparative Social Policy, and Contemporary Sociology.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Vance Puchalski, Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>focuses on the separate and unequal world of financial services that persists in post-civil rights America.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jyothi Puri, Professor of Sociology,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>is a feminist sociologist whose research and teaching are enriched by the intersections of sociology, sexuality and queer studies, critical death studies, and postcolonial, decolonial, and anticolonial theories. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Steven Schwartz, Assistant Professor of Anthropology,<\/b><\/span> is an environmental anthropologist whose research explores how the climate crisis and the global rise of renewable energy intersect with Indigenous peoples\u2019 environmental relations, practices of resistance, and political and economic life in Latin America.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Arjun Vishwanath, Assistant Professor of Political Science,<\/b>\u00a0focuses on representation and public opinion in American politics.He is developing a book project that examines substantive representation through the lens of political values. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
