BU Social Science Departments Present Lecture by Performance Artist Autumn Knight on April 9
The African American and Black Diaspora Studies program welcomes performance artist Autumn Knight as part of her ongoing “Nothing” series. Her performance/lecture of “Nothing #35″ will build on her extended exploration of attention economies and “dolce far niente” (sweetness of doing nothing). This iteration intends to open up a site-specific conversation around academic institutions as a fertile site for nothing doing, an especially provocative proposition in our current climate.
The event will happen April 9th, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Howard Thurman Center.
AABDS will also be hosting a Meet & Greet with Autumn on April 8th, 2026 at 5:30 pm at 138 Mountfort St.
