He earned a PhD in computer science at Stanford University in 2018 under the supervision of <a href=\"http:\/\/web.stanford.edu\/group\/brainsinsilicon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kwabena Boahen<\/a>, and a AB in mathematics from Harvard in 2013. He is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/education\/dual-degree-programs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">master of medicine<\/a>. His current research interests <\/span><span>optimization algorithms for machine learning.
