The award is just one of many ways Scialog hopes to accelerate research through dialog and community growth. The Scialog award and grant will support Tian\u2019s work in developing a new form of 3D microscopy technology in his Computational Imaging Systems Lab at BU.<\/p>\n<p>The lab develops next-generation imaging systems that combine optics and computation. The new and improved systems overcome physical limitations that prior systems could not. At the core of the lab is the joint between the physical layer and the computational layer of the imaging systems.
