He earned a PhD in computer science at Stanford University in 2018, and is also a graduate of the Masters in Medicine program. His current research interests include learning algorithms that don\u2019t require manual hyperparameter tuning, in particular in the online learning framework. Previously, Ohn-Bar r<span>eceived a Humboldt fellowship, visiting MPI for Intelligent Systems<\/span><span>.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>He earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering at University of California San Diego. Ohn-Bar is interested<span>\u00a0in machine intelligence for real-world, embodied, assistive and autonomous systems. Specifically, he has developed data-driven perception, planning, and control systems for safety-critical applications in\u00a0<\/span>navigation and transportation<span>\u2013including autonomous driving and assisted navigation to people with visual impairments.
