In this role, he is in charge of T&amp;D Planning, Gas-Electric Planning, Asset Management, Transmission, Distribution, Substation and Telecommunications Engineering, Real Time T&amp;D Control Room Operating Systems and Vegetation Management. As head of Engineering, Mr. Chatterjee balances multiple responsibilities \u2013 supporting day to day operations of the transmission and distribution system while also overseeing the development and engineering of the 5-Year Capital Plan to improve reliability, addre<\/p>\n<p class=\"AddressCxSpFirst\">ss near term asset replacements and connect customers as well as the development and engineering of the 10 and 20 Year strategic Transmission and Distribution Grid Modernization Plan to meet the States\u2019 Clean energy mandates as well as addressing the threats of Climate Change through Resilience investments to mitigate increase in Storm Costs.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"AddressCxSpMiddle\">Previously, Mr. Chatterjee served as Vice President, Investment Strategy at GE Capital, where he led fundamental Energy and Capacity market analyses to inform investment decisions of over 2 GW of renewables and combined cycle powerplants throughout US.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"AddressCxSpMiddle\">Mr. Chatterjee began his professional career over 25 years ago at GE Energy Consulting performing Engineering studies for utilities both within and outside US. Mr. Chatterjee subsequently worked for MISO where he led Reliability and Economic Transmission Planning and Resource Adequacy. At MISO, Mr. Chatterjee led the implementation of FERC Orders 890, 1000 as well as the Zonal Capacity Market. Mr. Chatterjee oversaw the development of the $2B annual transmission capital plan as well as the reliability justification of MISO\u2019s $5B Multi Value Project portfolio constructed to enable about 21 GW of Onshore Wind.<o:p><\/o:p><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"AddressCxSpLast\">Mr. Chatterjee earned his Bachelors in Power Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University, India. He earned his Master\u2019s in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from University of Chicago-Booth School of Business.
