\"\"The Center for Information & Systems Engineering established the CISE Best Student Paper Award competition \u00a0to promote student research and recognize the scientific quality of research being conducted by CISE students. The opportunity is open to all students <\/span>currently enrolled at Boston University and\u00a0<\/span>advised by a CISE faculty affiliate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for submissions closed on Friday, March 4th.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Paper submissions will be evaluated through\u00a0a blind review process conducted by a faculty review\u00a0committee.
\n<\/span>The award winner and finalists will be selected based on the ratings and comments received from paper reviewers.
\n<\/span>The winner and finalists will be\u00a0recognized at t<\/span>he 2022<\/strong>\u00a0CISE Best Student Paper Awards\u00a0event on Friday, April 29th, 3PM<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The\u00a0paper\u00a0must represent original research conducted at\u00a0Boston\u00a0University primarily by the student.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. While other authors may be listed on the paper, the student must be the lead student author (i.e., contributed the majority of the effort among all student co-authors) and must have contributed significantly to the paper (advisors will be asked to certify the student\u2019s role and contribution).<\/li>\n
  3. The paper must have been published or accepted for publication at a journal or conference within the past 24 months from submission to this CFP.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Papers posted on archive sites (e.g., arXiv, bioarXiv)\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are not acceptable for submission.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. A full-length paper must be officially submitted via the web in pdf format.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Papers must include\u00a0three key words<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Each student can only enter one paper in this competition.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. If the student\u2019s paper is selected as winner or finalists, the student must present the paper at the CISE Best Paper Presentation event on Friday, April 29th, 3PM.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Your paper will also be evaluated based on:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Significance and impact of work<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Creativity and innovation<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Completeness and quality of work presented<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Articulacy in writing and presentation<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Relevance to information and systems engineering, broadly defined.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To enter the contest, please submit a full-length paper to the CISE Best Student Paper Submission Site<\/a>.\u00a0 Papers must be in PDF format.<\/p>\n
