His research and teaching interests are Italian cinema and 19-21C Italian literature, especially the relationship between political economy and cultural production. His books include <i>Italian Industrial Literature and Film: Perspectives on the Representation of Postwar Labor<\/i>\u00a0(edited with Carlo Baghetti and Lorenzo Marmo, Peter Lang, 2021), <i>Ecologia e lavoro: dialoghi interdisciplinari<\/i>\u00a0(edited with the Obert collective, Mimesis, 2023) and <i>Olivetti and the Cultural Politics of Italian Industry, 1930s-1950s<\/i>\u00a0(Intellect, forthcoming). In 2019 he was awarded the Rome Prize in Modern Italian Studies.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span>At Boston University, prof.
