Where is the center located?<\/h6>

\nThe Center is located at 10 Lenox Street in Brookline.

How many children and what age groups does the center serve?<\/h6>

\nThe Center serves a total of 92 children, ages infant through five.
\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Is enrollment be open to anyone?<\/h6>

\nEnrollment at the center is open to the children of Boston University faculty, Staff, and graduate students as a priority. As of April 2026, we are now open to the Brookline community as well.

Does the center offer part-time care?<\/h6>

\nNo. The Center only offers full-time care.

Are families required to sign a contract when enrolling their child in the center?<\/h6>

\nYes. Families are required to sign a 12-month contract from September through August when enrolling their child in the Center.

When is the center closed?<\/h6>

\nThe Center operates according to the University’s Holiday schedule<\/a>. We have an internal calendar shared during enrollment for important dates throughout the school year.

How do families pay their child's tuition each month?<\/h6>

\nAll tuition is paid through University Payroll Deduction.

\nThe Center is university-owned and operated.

What happens if the center does not have any openings in a classroom?<\/h6>

\nWaiting list Application Form <\/a>for any classroom with no openings, and applicants will be contacted when an opening becomes available.

What is the philosophy of the center?<\/h6>

\nThe Center’s philosophy blends a variety of early childhood educational philosophies and approaches, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Constructivist. Children at the Center are viewed as active participants in their own learning, making choices and seeking out experiences that further their development.\u00a0 \u00a0Educators at the Center strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children as they learn and grow at their own pace through play-based and child-centered experiences.\u00a0 Educators at the Center believe in viewing each child as an individual, and they understand the importance of getting to know each child and meeting them where they are developmentally.
