\"\"State Licensure<\/h3>\n

The Children\u2019s Center is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and is required to follow all regulations set forth by the EEC. Licensing regulations are maintained on file in the office and they are also available for review online<\/a><\/u>. The Center is re-licensed every two years and is subject to unannounced Licensor visits annually to confirm compliance with all applicable regulations. The Center\u2019s Regional Office responsible for oversight of the program is the Metro Boston Office, located at 1250 Hancock Street, Suite 604-N, Quincy, MA 02169. The Center\u2019s Licensor is Lori O’Brien\u00a0and she can be reached at (617) 979-8628 or lori.o’brien@state.ma.us<\/u><\/a>. NAEYC Accreditation\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/h3>\n

The Children\u2019s Center\u00a0will\u00a0be working toward accreditation\u00a0by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This nationally renowned organization is at the forefront of promoting standards for high quality early childhood education and best practices. Accreditation is an elective process and being an accredited program means that\u00a0you exceed your licensing regulations and hold your program to significantly higher standards in the areas of relationships, curriculum, teaching, assessment, health, staff competencies, preparedness, family relationships, community relationships, the physical environment, as well as leadership and management.
