In some communities, programs are available in the school building, although usually not as part of the school system. Often you must apply early to reserve a space for before-school and after-school care. You might also consider using a family day care provider or community organizations such as the local “Y” for before-school and/or after-school care. Another option is coordinating with other parents in similar situations to share a caregiver or to care for each others children on alternating days.
Family Resources can assist you in your school-age child care search. Please complete and submit the Referral Statement Form. Someone from our office will then contact you to find our more information about your specific child care needs and to share how our office can assist you.
