On behalf of our faculty, staff, and students, I would like to welcome you to the Department of Chemistry! No matter what your background from high school, we offer several levels of freshman chemistry to smoothly \u201cramp\u201d you into the chemistry major track without missing a beat! In addition to our rigorous Chemistry focus, we offer a Chemistry: Chemical Biology major. Together with the Physics department, we have established a Chemistry and Physics major for students who are interested in pursuing a career at the boundary of the two disciplines.Our students receive the education, resources, and training to open doors to a variety of career options and positions in industry, graduate education, and medical schools. Our graduates are in great demand!<\/a><\/p>\n

Another great feature of our program is the opportunity for undergraduates to conduct hands-on research with Chemistry faculty working on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research topics.
