This space is ideal for weddings, memorial services, and larger events. All events in this space are subject to the approval of the Marsh Chapel Dean and must align with the mission, vision, and overarching legacy of the chapel. \nRobinson Chapel<\/strong><\/h3>\nSeated Capacity: 40<\/strong><\/p>\nLocated in the lower level of the chapel, this space is perfect for intimate weddings and small religious gatherings. A curtain has been added to the traditional altar space so the Christian iconography can be hidden when the space is being used for Muslim or Dharmic prayer gatherings or multi-faith events. \nThurman Room<\/strong><\/h3>\nSeated Capacity: 20<\/strong> (Room is arranged with chairs in a large circle)<\/p>\nThe Thurman Room, affectionately named for our most famous dean, Howard Thurman, is a small, comfortable space that is perfectly acquainted for scripture study, book groups, or small fellowship gatherings.<\/p>\n

However, it can also be arranged with chairs in rows and used for a class or meetings, or the chairs and tables can be put away on their rack and used for wellness programming like Tai Chi.<\/p>\n
