Led by Director of Music, the Arts, and Cultural Engagement Dr. Scott Allen Jarrett<\/a>, the <\/span>Bach Experience<\/span><\/i> at Marsh Chapel brings to life the profound musical and theological world of Johann Sebastian Bach. Now in its 19th year, this series delves into Bach\u2019s sacred cantatas\u2014works that illuminate the week\u2019s liturgy through deep musical expression.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the year, Dr. Jarrett, the Chapel Choir, soloists, and Collegium orchestra present a series of cantatas in both lecture and performance. Each <\/span>Bach Experience<\/span><\/i> begins at 9:45AM with an exploration of the cantata\u2019s musical and theological significance. Following a complimentary breakfast, the cantata is presented in its intended liturgical setting as part of the Sunday morning service.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
