April 4, 2018, 6pm: Service of Remembrance: In Memoriam, Martin Luther King, Jr.; Dean, Chaplains, Choirs (Chapel Choir, Thurman Choir, and Inner Strength Gospel Choir), and Associates in leadership.
April 8, 2018, 11am: ‘After Fifty Years’: The King Legacy in Word and Song’; Special Guest Preacher; Service followed by a guided walk to and through the Howard Gottlieb Archives at BU (persons representing various leaders from 1968 will meet and speak to you on your way to the Gottlieb).

The panel will include the new CFA Dean Harvey Young, composer Kirke Mechem, and one other BU Faculty member tbd.
April 9, 2018, 8:00 pm: BU Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the BU Arts Initiative Sponsor a Musical Evening, Boston Symphony Hall: William Grant Still – Plain-Chant for America, Samuel Barber – Adagio for Strings, Aaron Copland – Lincoln Portrait, Karl Husa – Music for Prague 1968 and Kirke Mechem – Songs of the Slave.
