What is causing this?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>You may have a hold on your account (financial hold, compliance hold, student accounts hold, immunization hold, etc.). Please check your student account, resolve any holds, and proceed with registration. If you are still having issues that are not related to the class being closed, please contact\u00a0<\/span><u><span><a href=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\" data-linkindex=\"0\" title=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\">cgs@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><\/u><span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><span><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">The team I wanted filled up. What should I do?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While we can guarantee you a spot in the courses you need to fulfill the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/resources-for-current-students\/academic-advising\/pathways\/cgs-courses-january-program\/\">CGS curriculum<\/a> requirements, we can\u2019t make any guarantees that you\u2019ll get a spot on a particular team of preference. Please register for an open CGS team on MyBU Student.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><span><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">MyBU Student says that seats are available in a CGS section\/elective, but it won\u2019t let me add the class. What should I do?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The number of seats you see on MyBU Student does not accurately reflect the actual capacity of the section. If the system does not allow you to register for a CGS section, that means it is currently full. Please choose a different section and\/or team accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">All the available options for CGS teams conflict with my elective(s). How can I fix this?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>If you are certain that no other combination of available CGS sections will fit with your elective(s), contact the CGS Office of Student Services at <u><a href=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\" data-linkindex=\"1\" title=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\">cgs@bu.edu<\/a><\/u>. They will be able to help get you into sections that work with your elective(s).<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Can I contact the CGS professors of the sections I want to add?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Please do not contact a CGS professor directly if their class is full. Enrollment in CGS classes is managed centrally by the CGS Office of Student Services (<u><a href=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\" data-linkindex=\"2\" title=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\">cgs@bu.edu<\/a><\/u>). The CGS professors do not have the administrative ability to add students to their sections.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">The elective I need is completely full. What should I do?<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Please consult with the <u><a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/resources-for-current-students\/academic-advising\/pathways\/boston-london\/\" data-linkindex=\"3\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/resources-for-current-students\/academic-advising\/pathways\/boston-london\/\">Academic Pathways<\/a><\/u>\u00a0on the CGS Website to get a sense of other elective options that work for your degree plans. You should also consult your CGS\u00a0<u><a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/resources-for-current-students\/academic-advising\/appointments\/\" data-linkindex=\"4\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/resources-for-current-students\/academic-advising\/appointments\/\">Academic Advisor<\/a><\/u> to discuss other elective course options.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">I need to change my CGS team or adjust a CGS class section, but I\u2019m unable to do so myself. What are my next steps?<\/span><span><\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you need to change your CGS schedule due to an academic time conflict and there are no options on MyBU Student that work, please email CGS Student Services at <u><a href=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\" data-linkindex=\"6\" title=\"mailto:cgs@bu.edu\">cgs@bu.edu<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>An &#8220;academic time conflict&#8221; in this context is defined as all available sections of a required course conflicting with all available CGS sections. Note that an academic time conflict does not include extracurricular obligations or work schedules.<\/p>\n<p><b>Please note that if you are changing your classes during this time, all classes you are registered for\u00a0<u>must<\/u> be on the same team. Students who enroll in two or more CGS teams will have their schedules adjusted by CGS Student Services<\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">I need to change my class\/section\/team, but I have a non-academic reason.<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Medical and disability accommodations must go through <u><a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/disability\/\" data-linkindex=\"7\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/disability\/\">Disability Access Services (DAS)<\/a><\/u>.
