CGS students are required to complete:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two rhetoric courses in the freshman year<\/li>\n<li>Two natural science courses in the sophomore year<\/li>\n<li>Three humanities courses during the two year-program<\/li>\n<li>Three social sciences courses during the two-year program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgs\/academics\/cgs-courses-january-program\/\">CGS Required Courses<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Students will\u00a0work with\u00a0their CGS academic advisor to determine which humanities and social sciences courses are most appropriate for their major.<\/p>\n<h3>Completing CGS and Continuing to a Major<\/h3>\n<p>Students<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>are eligible to continue into one of the undergraduate degree-granting schools and colleges at the University if they\u00a0<\/span>have completed the CGS program requirements and appropriate electives, have a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher, and have earned a minimum of 60 units.
