{"id":9777,"date":"2020-02-03T15:42:50","date_gmt":"2020-02-03T20:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgcm\/?p=9777"},"modified":"2020-02-03T15:42:50","modified_gmt":"2020-02-03T20:42:50","slug":"yale-edinburgh-call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgcm\/2020\/02\/03\/yale-edinburgh-call-for-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Yale-Edinburgh Call for Papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year\u2019s conference on World Christianity will take place at New College, University of Edinburgh, UK from 25 \u2013 27 June 2020 on the theme \u201cOral, Print, and Digital Cultures in World Christianity and the History of Mission.\u201d<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Paper proposals<\/strong>\u00a0with brief abstracts of 250-300 words should be submitted via email by\u00a0<strong>March 6, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0to the Conference Administrator, Jessie Fubara-Manuel at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:cswc-events@ed.ac.uk\"><span>cswc-events@ed.ac.uk<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0Please include your name, the name of your institution, and the title of your proposed paper at the top of the document.<span>\u00a0 Description for the conference theme is available at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/divinity-adhoc.library.yale.edu\/Yale-Edinburgh\/2020theme.htm\"><span>http:\/\/divinity-adhoc.library.yale.edu\/Yale-Edinburgh\/2020theme.htm<\/span><\/a><span>and <\/span>papers should focus on the theme.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the conference and payment of the conference fee of \u00a390.00 should be completed by\u00a0<strong>March 30, 2020 <\/strong>through the ePay online portal at (<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/YaleEd2020\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/YaleEd2020<\/a>).\u00a0 Paper presenters are expected to complete the registration and payment process as a demonstration of their commitment to attend the conference.\u00a0 Details for accommodation are available on the ePay portal.\u00a0 Once you have registered, you will receive further communication.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that space for the conference is limited to 90 participants. If you plan to attend, please register at your earliest convenience.
