The final issue had notoriously been blocked by the United Methodist Church from being printed. To commemorate <i>motive<\/i>&#8216;s digitization, B. J. Stiles, the last editor of\u00a0<em>motive<\/em>\u00a0magazine, donated his\u00a0prints of that final issue to the School of Theology to make\u00a0the\u00a0collection complete.<\/p>\n<p>Beside the gift, a <a href=\"\/cgcm\/files\/2015\/10\/Readers-Theater.pdf\">Reader&#8217;s Theater<\/a>\u00a0was organized to capture the impact <em>motive <\/em>had on various people&#8217;s\u00a0lives.\u00a0The evening concluded with\u00a0Frank Lloyd Dent, Tom F. Driver, and B. J. Stiles reflecting on the significance of\u00a0<em>motive<\/em>, both for them personally and as a religious gadfly.
