Green Office Certifications

The Green Office Certification is a way to recognize individuals who are practicing sustainable methods on campus, as well as encourage more awareness and discussion of ways to be more sustainable every day. The Green Office Certification is modeled after LEED (the international green building rating system) criteria and allows for three levels of distinction: Certified, Silver, and Gold. To become Green Certified, you must receive 30 points on the questionnaire, 40 points achieves a Silver Certification, and 50 points or more achieves Gold. The interview process takes about 15-20 minutes, during which we visit your space and use the attached spreadsheet to complete a brief energy audit and highlight the sustainable actions you can practice.
