Dr. Mu\u0163 has performed solo and chamber music recitals throughout Romania, France, Colombia, Mexico and the United States. She has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including First Prize in the Martian Negrea National Competition, Ploiesti, Romania (2008), Second Prize in the Pro Piano International Competition Bucharest, Romania (2004), and Third\u00a0 Prize in the \u201cCarl Filtsch\u201d International Competiton, Sibiu, Romania (2001).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Between 2012 and 2014, Dr. Mu\u0163 held the position of Head Repetiteur and Assistant Conductor at Opera in the Heights Houston. In 2016, she made her vocal coach debut in Robert Ward\u2019s Roman Fever at the University of Houston, followed by a second appointment as Music Director and pianist for the Moores Opera House production of Nino Rota\u2019s I due timidi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Also a prolific collaborative pianist and recitalist, Dr. Mu\u0163 has performed with Da Camera Houston, APERIO &#8211; Music of the Americas, AURA \u2013 the Moores School of Music Contemporary Ensemble, the Foundation for Modern Music, the Clear Lake Chamber Ensemble, Texas New Music Ensemble, and the Texas Two Year College All State \u00a0Choir. She has also collaborated with the Houston Symphony Chorus, Le Chiavi \u2013 The Institute of Bel Canto Studies, the Texas Music Festival, Opera San Antonio, Houston Youth Symphony, Songs by Heart Foundation, Sphinx Organization, and the North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">A passionate chamber musician, Dr. Mu\u021b enjoys a variety of chamber music collaborations. In 2017, she was a senior faculty member for the Classical Music Institute in San Antonio, Texas, where she gave many performances for the summer chamber music series. She has amassed extensive experience as a collaborative pianist, and her interest in this role led her to form a duo with violinist Dr. Ingrid Gerling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Dr. Mu\u0163 is currently serving as staff pianist at University of Houston. She was also recently appointed as the organist at St. Stephen\u2019s United Methodist Church, Houston, TX.
