Brown is an independent curator and educator who specializes in the history of photography and modern and contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p>Brown earned a PhD in the History of Art &amp; Architecture at Boston University and holds an MA from the University of Texas at Austin.\u00a0During her tenure as Curator at the Photographic Resource Center, she curated and oversaw over 40 exhibitions.
