She obtained her BFA in theatre arts at Boston University and her MFA in directing at Northwestern University. Her most recent directing credits include<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><i>1919<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span>(Steppenwolf Theatre Company),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>A Raisin in the Sun<\/i><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><span>(American Players Theatre),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Intimate Apparel\u00a0<\/i><span>(Northlight Theatre),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Intimate Apparel<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span>(Utah Shakespeare Festival),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Small Mouth Sounds<\/i><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><span>(UCCS Theatreworks),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Voyeurs de Venus<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span>(Northwestern University),<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><span>and<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>The MLK Project<\/i><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><span>(Writers Theatre).
