Welcome to the Boston University Tanglewood Institute 2026\u00a0<\/span>Lifebook<\/em>. Use this resource as a guide to learn more about the program, and review rules and regulations. Students and parents are responsible for reading this information in full prior to the start of the program. The 2026\u00a0<\/span>Lifebook<\/em>, as currently posted, supersedes any previously-released edition.<\/p>\n

Boston University Tanglewood Institute is an organization with a focus on advancing young talent through the study of classical music. It is an organization that was built through partnership and collaboration\u2014it is at the core of our identity. Our core values naturally include excellence and empowerment, but just as equally include access, diversity, and community. We expect everyone affiliated with our organization (faculty, staff, students, and parents of students alike) to uphold and model these values through the building of life-long friendships, supportive collaboration, and empowering, motivating, daily interactions.
