{"id":7556,"date":"2022-06-30T12:13:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T16:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/?page_id=7556"},"modified":"2025-08-25T10:19:55","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T14:19:55","slug":"internships-for-credit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/students\/visual\/internships-for-credit\/","title":{"rendered":"Internships for Credit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Internships offer students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional arts environment.\u00a0 In addition, these opportunities give our students the chance to make valuable connections in the art world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">School of Visual Arts students with qualifying internships are eligible to register for CFA AR572 Visual Arts Internship (CFA AR598S during summer semesters).\u00a0 CFA AR572 is a two unit course, and CFA AR598S is a variable unit course that students may take for as little as .5 units. Students must complete and submit an Internship Proposal outlining the goals and objectives before beginning their placement.
