The Bassoon Workshop is under the direction of director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/about\/contact-directions\/directory\/margaret-phillips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Margaret Phillips<\/a>, Lecturer in Music at BU and assistant director, Vincent LaMonica.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/profile\/margaret-phillips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technique classes focusing on fundamentals and musicianship<\/li>\n<li>Class time dedicated to every aspect of bassoon playing and performance, including the study of solo repertoire and orchestral excerpts<\/li>\n<li>Individualized attention and masterclasses<\/li>\n<li>Performance opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Boston University transferable course credit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Related Programs<\/h4>\n<p>BUTI encourages you to apply to every program for which you&#8217;re interested and eligible. Any student applying for scholarship must complete the scholarship section of the admissions application, even if only applying for a merit-based award (the scholarship application is found within the digital admissions application).
