The faculty, in consultation with the conductors, will make all ensemble seating decisions. Seating assignments typically rotate throughout the summer. While initial placement auditions typically help set the seating for the duration of the summer (including chamber music), auditions for the second concert might be held throughout the summer as appropriate. BUTI faculty work extremely hard to ensure the most advantageous and equitable placement for all program participants. Leadership positions are limited, of course, but an effort is made to provide opportunities for students to gain the whole of the wind ensemble experience &#8211; in both leading and supportive roles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recording Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Please use a phone or video recorder (laptop) to record the videos. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span>Record in landscape mode. Make sure your face, instrument, and hands are visible.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>Place the phone or video recorder at least 3 feet away from you playing.
