BU School of Theatre\u2019s acting program focuses on essential tools, the development of artistic voice, and challenging individual work toward ever-increasing levels of awareness, imagination, and expression. During each year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, courses in the major follow a carefully integrated sequence of class exercises and production assignments. Additionally, the School of Theatre provides for artist-scholars and scholar-artists to experience all the opportunities of a Research 1 university as they deepen their knowledge of foundational techniques within the art form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BU School of Theatre alumni are part of a dynamic community of arts innovators. Upon graduating with a BFA in acting, graduates obtain jobs on and off Broadway, from devised ensemble to producing groundbreaking new works; working in the television and film industry; and pursuing arts leadership opportunities as artist-activists, playwrights, and scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
