Students are guided by master teachers with years of experience in the studio and classroom. The online program allows our students to receive the highest caliber education without leaving their families, jobs, and communities. Six years of teaching visual arts in public schools. A BA in Art Education from The Ohio State University and a K-12 certification. Boston University online student Yoon Kim\u2019s (CFA\u201926) love for teaching continues to blossom and grow as she takes on new roles in the education field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoon calls Chicago, IL., and Philadelphia, PA. her hometowns. After the pandemic, Yoon\u2019s passion for teaching brought her to New England, where she began the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/academics\/degrees-programs\/art-education\/ma-online\/\">&nbsp;BU Online Master of Arts in Art Education program<\/a>, offered through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/visual-arts\/\">BU School of Visual Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her graduate studies, Yoon has been working part-time at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mosesbrown.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moses Brown School<\/a>, a private Friends school in Providence, RI., where she engages in a range of roles that have allowed her to grow as an educator, leader, and active member of the school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Yoon spoke to CFA about her experience at Moses Brown, working as an extended day and extracurriculars teacher, while also having the pleasure of stepping into other roles, including administration and summer camp instruction.
