Boston University School of Visual Arts<\/a> is proud to celebrate their 2023 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduates with the opening of the 2023 MFA Thesis Exhibitions<\/a>, on view from April 6 through April 22, with a reception open to the Boston community on April 14 from 5-7pm. The exhibitions feature 42 graduating students from BU\u2019s MFA Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Design programs and span two buildings.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Boston University Art Galleries\u2019<\/a> 808 Gallery<\/a> hosts the MFA Graphic Design exhibition \u201cHide Self View<\/a>.\u201d The MFA Painting and Sculpture theses are displayed in both the Faye G., Jo, and James Stone Gallery<\/a> and Commonwealth Gallery<\/a> at the BU College of Fine Arts building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTogether we sincerely congratulate the MFA Class of 2023 for their extraordinary work. Questions of individual agency and collective impact are brought to the foreground by Hide Self View, an exhibition responsive to the experience of shared screen-space and personal vulnerability. The MFA Painting and Sculpture exhibitions also mine the gap between internal experience and externalized material expression, making invisible feelings and forces physical in a myriad of ways.\u201d<\/div>
