Scott Allen Jarrett (CFA ’99, ’08) was recently appointed ‘Resident Conductor of Chorus’ at the Handel and Haydn Society. Jarrett is the Director of Choral Activities, ad interim, at the College of Fine Arts and the Director of Music at Marsh Chapel. He formerly served as the Director of Choruses and the Assistant Conductor at the Charlotte Symphony in North Carolina from 2004 to 2015. Jarrett was previously the Music Director of the Adams Vocal Master Class at the Carmel Bach Festival. The former CFA graduate has performed as a guest conductor in the Bach cantata series and Britten celebration at Trinity Wall Street. He has previously conducted performances of Bach’s Mass in B Minor at Trinity Wall Street as well.
