Brian Dudley (he/him) is a teaching artist and arts administrator specializing in arts integration, youth development, and theatre education. At BU, he serves as academic advisor to all School of Theatre undergraduates, working with them to coordinate and understand degree requirements and course registration, study abroad, extracurricular opportunities, and more. He organizes messaging, materials, and training for BU’s General Education program (Hub) for all CFA undergrads, and manages the Theatre Arts minor. He is the Administrative Program Head of the Summer Theatre Institute, where he is a faculty member teaching Collaborative Theatre Ensemble and Dramatic Literature. Brian has worked with the School of Theatre in several capacities since 2014, including Administrative Coordinator and Audience Services Manager.
As a teaching artist, youth development facilitator, and youth theatre director, Brian has worked with the Massachusetts Youth Leadership Foundation, where he currently serves as Director of Programming, as well as Arlington Children’s Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, Lyric First Stage at Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Kingsley Montessori School, JCC North Shore Early Childhood Programs, and Jumpstart at Emerson College.
He holds a M.Ed in Arts, Community, and Education with a specialization in Theatre from Lesley University, and a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College.
