Brian Dudley is an arts administrator and educator specializing in arts-based youth development and storytelling. At BU, he manages the day-to-day operations of the School of Theatre’s main office and leads administration for the Summer Theatre Institute, where he teaches Collaborative Theatre Ensemble and Dramatic Literature. He has taught, facilitated, or developed programs for many organizations including the Massachusetts Youth Leadership Foundation, where he serves as Director of Programming for their annual MassSTAR conference, as well as Wheelock Family Theatre, Lyric First Stage, JCC North Shore Early Childhood Program, Arlington Children’s Theatre, and Jumpstart at Emerson College.
Prior to joining BU, Brian served on staff at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston for eight seasons, serving as Education Program Coordinator, Marketing & Development Associate, and Box Office & Front of House Manager. He holds a Master’s in Education degree in Arts, Community, and Education with a specialization in Theatre from Lesley University, and a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College.
