Adam Mohammed Kassim (he/him/his) is a theatre director, educator, and arts leader. He has a love for new play development and a passion for exploring stories that bravely investigate the messiness of the human condition.

Adam has worked with numerous theatre companies in the Boston area, including New Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, Company One, and Boston Playwrights’ Theatre (BPT). He has directed multiple productions for Boston University School of Theatre, including Ghosts, Agamemnon, In the Heart of America, The Europeans, and most recently, collaborated with Kirsten Greenidge on the development of her play, Little Row Boat; Or, Conjecture.

As an arts leader, Adam has more than 10 years of experience supporting universities and nonprofit performing arts organizations, including Office for the Arts at Harvard University, Northeastern Center for the Arts, and the Citi Center (now Boch Center). He is currently the 855 Production Manager at Boston University School of Theatre, where he advises workshop productions, oversees academic scheduling, and mentors the next generation of theatre artists.
