Emerging Scholar Symposium – Reconsidering Craft: Its History and Practice

As a complement to the current exhibition, Craft & Modernity: Professional Women Artists in Boston (1890-1920), the Boston University Art Gallery is hosting a graduate symposium with submissions by scholars working on the visual culture of the United States, from the colonial era to the present. The event provides a forum for presenting current research projects that consider craft theory and its intersection with contemporary culture.
