Inaugurated in 1992, NTC has provided performing opportunities, master classes, exhibition concerts, historic and commercial exhibits and an educational, supportive environment for nearly 3,000 students. To date, these students have represented 40 states as well 6 foreign countries. Nearly 100 Artist Faculty members coming from universities and symphony orchestras around the nation have donated their time and talents to judge these fine young players. Artists are chosen from among many of the trumpet world’s greatest performers. NTC audiences have been inspired by performances of Canadian Brass, Grammy Award Winner Aruturo Sandoval, Maynard Ferguson, Phil Smith, Tim Morrison, Jens Lindemann, Alan Vizzutti and a host of others, many of whom waive their considerable fees to support NTC.
