CFA student-artists volunteer to bring artistic interventions to the highly diverse and vibrant community at Boston Medical Center and nearby shelters. Performances, collaborations and cross-disciplinary dialogues are the result of an ongoing commitment to translate individual ability into collective experiences.

Arts Leadership Minor

The Arts Leadership Minor provides students with a range of practical and entrepreneurial skills that foster an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to pursuing a life in the arts. The minor unites students from the College and within the University community.

Social Impact Seed Grants

Seed grants are available to encourage and empower College of Fine Arts graduate and undergraduate students to kick-start a project or develop an artistic intervention on campus or in the Boston community.

Arts Common Ground (ACG)

Arts Common Ground is a collective committed to the arts as a space for interrogating, consoling, protesting, and inspiring within and beyond the CFA community. ACG emphasizes the importance of explorative collaboration including social justice, civic engagement and working communally with other artists.

Collaborative Arts Incubator

Collaborative Arts Incubator is a cross disciplinary class for all CFA students to collaborate on innovative, artistic projects. With a keen focus on the arts and social justice, students draw from their artistic disciplines as well as enter new, unexplored creative territory to build common ground to expand their own creative vision.
