Jolanda Dranchak

Lecturer in Art, Art Education

Jolanda Dranchak earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and master’s and baccalaureate degrees in Art Education. Prior to her role as a curriculum integration leader at an arts magnet school, Dr. Dranchak was a visual arts educator and a freelance graphic designer. Professional development and implementation of arts integration, community outreach, partnerships with the artists and art organizations, arts advocacy, and arts curriculum writing are just a few areas of her expertise.

She has presented her work at the national and state conferences and was awarded the Arts Administrator of the Year award by the Art Educators of Minnesota. Dr. Dranchak has also served as a state-level Scholastic Arts Awards judge and has served as a consultant on various art advisory boards. She has been a part of Boston University’s Online faculty team since 2012.
