
David Remedios
Assistant Professor & Program Head, Sound Design
David Remedios has been a working theatre professional for over thirty years and has been part of the Boston theatre community for over twenty-five years. He has designed sound for numerous New England-area theatres and universities, and his work has been heard nationally at 59E59, Actors’ Theatre of Louisville, Alley Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Berkeley Rep, Baltimore CenterStage, Cincinnati Playhouse, Pittsburgh’s City Theatre, Contemporary American Theater Festival, Everyman, Geva, Hartford Stage, La Jolla Playhouse, Merrimack Rep, Portland Stage Company, Studio Theatre, and Theatre for a New Audience, among others. He designed sound for over fifty productions during his sixteen years at American Repertory Theatre (1993-2009). International credits include the Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, Festival d’Automne in Paris, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and the Edinburgh International Festival.
David is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829 and serves as Chair of 829’s New England Design Exam Committee.
