University Admission Advising

CELOP students in specific programs have access to University Admission Advising and can work with CELOP’s Academic Advisors on applications for admission to Boston University and other universities in the United States. The eligible programs are:

  • Intensive 12-Week (20 or 25 Hours)
  • Part-Time 12-Week 15 Hours
  • Intensive 6-Week
  • English Plus Credit

Students must reach Level 5 or higher in these programs before advising begins.

The Academic Advisor will help you succeed and get accepted to the right university for you. Get help with:

  • Choosing the best universities for your degree program.
  • Completing your Common/Undergraduate or Graduate Application.
  • Understanding university admissions policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing your university application essays.

For many CELOP students, the goal of improving your English is to get accepted to a degree program. CELOP has the resources to help you with both, you English language proficiency and your university  application process to make sure you meet university admission requirements. If you arrive at CELOP with a beginning level of English, we recommend two years of English language study to reach the necessary level of proficiency.

Please contact our Academic Advisors if you have questions about applying to a degree program in the United States.
