As Admissions Manager at CELOP, Kim Beqari oversees the admissions process for all incoming and current CELOP students ensuring the proper processing of applications, enrollment, and pre-arrival information through check-in. He works closely with CELOP leadership to achieve enrollment goals.

Kim began his career in international higher education overseas as a lecturer with the University of Tirana in Albania where he taught English for several years to STEM students. He also contributed freelance work to United Press International news agency, The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, and Blue Guide Albania. Then, he moved to Boston to work as an editor and journalist in print media and broadcasting focusing primarily on international news events. He has free-lanced for the BBC and worked for the renowned radio station WBUR. Kim returned to international higher education when he joined CELOP, first as a coordinator for sponsored students, then as a lecturer, followed by Admissions Manager. He has successfully overseen the streamlining of the admissions processes contributing to achieving CELOP’s enrollment goals.

Kim holds an Ed.M. in TESOL from Boston University’s School of Education and earned a B.A. in TESOL from Tirana University, Albania. He is a fellow of Reuters International news agency, London, United Kingdom, and the World Press Institute, Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota.
