Professor Lejeune\u2019s background is in the area of computational mechanics and computational biomechanics. <\/p>\n<p>The goal of the Lejeune Lab is to leverage the state of the art in computational mechanics to investigate multiscale emergent behavior in biological and bio-inspired systems, and make predictions about mechanical phenomena. Current areas of research involve (1) integrating data-driven and physics based computational models and (2) predicting the behavior of highly heterogeneous soft materials.
