EEK! is an activity kit intended to expose children and their families to the interesting, exciting problems that engineers get to work on.<\/p>\n

Welcome to EEK!<\/span><\/p>\n

After a 1.5 year development process, EEK! officially launched in the winter of 2020. The kit consists of 7 hands-on activities and 1 take home activity that are meant to accomplish 3 main goals:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Engage children and families in dialogue around engineering skills and careers<\/li>\n
  2. Share CELL-MET research with the public<\/li>\n
  3. Educate families about heart health<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Thanks to generous funding from the National Science Foundation, 51 museums and centers<\/a> received the EEK! kit along with a two-day, kit-implementation training.<\/p>\n
