Siddharth Borsadia (Shtein Lab) is a graduate student at the University of Michigan in the Materials Science & Engineering Department. Siddharth’s research is in the 3D Cell Patterning Thrust Area and under the guidance of faculty PI Max Shtein, is working on Research Project 3, Demonstrating Parylene Deposition by Organic Vapor Jet Printing (OVJP) Atomic Calligraphy (AC)/OVJP-two dimensional layers.

Jenniffer’s research is in the Cell Scaffolds Thrust Area, under the guidance of faculty PI, Arvind Agarwal, is working on Research Project 1 Characterization of Scaffolds and Selecting/Testing scaffold materials.

Clarence Chan (Forrest Lab) is a graduate student at the University of Michigan in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. Clarence’s research is in the 3D Cell Patterning Thrust Area and under the guidance of Prof. Steven Forrest, focused on Project 1, Demonstrating the attachment of small molecules to gold nanopads deposited by Atomic Calligraphy.


Feng-Chen_playFeng Chen (He Lab) is a graduate student at Florida International University in the Physics Department . Feng’s research is in Imaging Thrust Area, and under the guidance of Prof. Jin He, is focused on Project 1, High-resolution multimodal imaging Image Ca2+.

Jonathan-Gerszberg_playJonathan Gerszberg (Lahann Lab) is a graduate student at the University of Michigan in the Chemical Engineering Department.  Under the direction of Faculty PI Joerg Lahann, Jonathan works in 3D Cell Patterning Thrust Area: Nanomanufacturing, specifically on Research Project 1, developing and identifying biocompatible chemistries and building a catalog of bio-compatible glues.


Rachael_Jayne_playRachael Jayne (White Lab) is a graduate student at Boston University in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Under the direction of Faculty PI Alice White, Rachael conducts research in the Cell Scaffolds Thrust Area, specifically working on Research Projects 1 through 3 and 5, designing and printing scaffolds, developing model vasculature selecting/testing scaffold materials, and the sensors and actuators test bed. Some specific areas of focus include embedding channels for vascularization and iterating on 2D/3D scaffold designs.

Jeremy Reeves (Bishop Lab) was a postdoctoral researcher at Boston University in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, working in the 3D Cell Patterning Thrust Area. Jeremy was conducting working on Research Project  2 Demonstrating Atomic Calligraphy (AC) on two-dimensional (2-D) scaffolds and planning three-dimensional (3D) Atomic calligraphy/Organic Vapor Jet Printing (OVJP) test beds. He is now working as a Principal Scientist at BAE Systems, Inc.
