Josefina (Fini) de la Fuente

Hello! My name is Josefina (Fini) de la Fuente. I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am currently an undergraduate student at Boston University, majoring in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Applied Human Development. Previously, I have worked as a therapeutic assistant in children’s equine therapy and as a research assistant at a neurorehabilitation center. I’m delighted to be pursuing my passion for children’s psychology through the Child Cognition Lab here at Boston University.

As a Hispanic first-generation student, one of my goals is to make education more accessible for children, regardless of cultural or linguistic barriers. I’m looking forward to exploring this goal through my work with the Child Cognition Lab and contributing to research that supports children’s learning and development. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Psy. D. program with a focus on family systems therapy. I’m so excited to be joining the team and to learn from everyone’s incredible work!
