Location, location, location! Boston is a great one, and there are many options for where you will live as a graduate student at BU.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to live on campus, you can check out these available options from <\/span>BU Graduate Student Housing<\/b><\/a>. On-campus housing offers furnishings, utilities, and <\/span>amenities<\/span><\/a> included with the cost of rent, making it an excellent option for students hoping to save money.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Central Campus:\u00a0 \"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

True to its name, Central Campus housing sits right at the heart of our Charles River Campus, easily accessible to all graduate schools, including the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, School of Law, and Metropolitan College. Just steps away, you\u2019ll find labs, libraries, offices, performance venues, and the George Sherman Union. West Campus, including FitRec and Agganis Arena, is a short stroll west, while bustling Kenmore Square is minutes to the east. This central location provides easy access to the MBTA\u2019s B-Line, which stops right at your doorstep on Commonwealth Avenue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Central Campus Graduate Brownstone Residences<\/b> <\/a>can be located on Bay State Road. These single-occupancy units provide comfort and charm in the heart of the BU Charles River Campus, just steps from classrooms, labs, libraries, offices, performance venues, and the George Sherman Union.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Central Campus Graduate Apartments<\/b><\/a> are housed at three different addresses and offer two distinct experiences.<\/span> Two-bedroom apartments with a living area, kitchen, and bath are found in the row houses at 710 and 714 Commonwealth Avenue, while 580 Comm. Ave. offers a choice of modern 1-bedroom and studio apartments built in 2003.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

East Campus: \"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

At one end, East Campus puts you right at the heart of BU\u2019s Charles River Campus, where you can find the School of Law, Questrom School of Business, Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, labs, libraries, performances, and student amenities. At the other, you\u2019re on the edge of Kenmore Square, a public transportation hub and the gateway to Fenway Park and its surrounding nightlife.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> East Campus Graduate Apartments <\/b><\/a>offer mostly one-bedroom apartments with en suite bathrooms and kitchens. East Campus is a leafy and brownstone-lined corridor of campus that oozes history, style, and charm, making the East Campus Graduate Apartments an excellent choice for students looking for a quaint neighborhood. Despite being on the eastern side of campus, Central Campus remains easily accessible to students living on East Campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

South Campus: \"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

South Campus is a tranquil, private neighborhood along St. Mary\u2019s Street and surrounding streets. A short walk across Beacon Street puts you in the Fenway area and the center of campus. Nearby, you\u2019ll find groceries, restaurants, and shops within walking distance to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the Questrom School of Business. Roaming farther afield is easy, too. While all campus areas are right by the B-line, South sits between the B- and C-lines, giving you greater access to the rest of Boston.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>South Campus Graduate Brownstone Residences<\/b><\/a> offer a quiet community close to BU Central. They offer single-room units and singles in multiple-bedroom suites with shared kitchens and bathrooms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>South Campus Graduate Apartments<\/b><\/a> offer 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, as well as studio apartments with <\/span>en suite <\/span><\/i>bathrooms and kitchens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Living on the south campus is great for students who want an off-campus feel with on-campus convenience!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fenway Campus: \"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

For a taste of in-town living, consider Fenway, BU\u2019s newest campus. As the name implies, you\u2019ll be right in the heart of Boston\u2019s Fenway neighborhood and close to the South End. Dining and nightlife abound, along with the Wheelock Family Theatre, Target, groceries, and supplies. You can reach BU\u2019s central campus, including the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Law, and the Metropolitan College, via a pleasant 15-minute walk or a short ride on the BU shuttle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peabody Hall <\/b><\/a>is a dormitory-style residence specifically for BU graduate students.\u00a0 <\/span>It features 138 single-occupancy rooms, each with a mini fridge and microwave oven. There are common kitchens, baths, and laundry on each floor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
