She says studying under each of these professors\u00a0<\/span><span>influenced her storytelling, changing how she saw the world and laying a\u00a0<\/span><span>foundation for her career path as a writer and journalist.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"en\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span>\u201cI\u2019ve always loved questions, research, talking to people, discovering surprising things, and writing,\u201d Kleiber says. \u201cI\u2019m interested in culture and people and how we all connect to each other.\u201d<\/span><\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"en\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span>Upon graduation, Kleiber traveled\u00a0<\/span><span>across the country for several months<\/span><span>,<\/span><span> c<\/span><span>hasing her curiosity about culture and people. Ultimately, she landed back in her hometown of Washington D.C.\u00a0<\/span><span>working for NPR<\/span><span>, and dove into a career that gave her a platform to be curious about the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"en\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span>\u00a0Kleiber\u00a0<\/span><span>then<\/span><span>\u00a0returned to school, earning a master\u2019s degree from American University, and\u00a0<\/span><span>went on<\/span><span>\u00a0to pursue work as a print reporter, covering economics and technology, and internet culture.
